• Small 22 bed unit with both semi-private and private rooms
• Entry ways and exits are controlled by Magnetic locking door mechanisms
• Staff is specifically trained in caring for residents with Dementing illness
• Staffed 24 hours per day with Licensed and Certified personnel
• Low stimulus and family-friendly environment
• Dining area within the unit, complete with a kitchen area
• Recreational Lounge for activities, gatherings, and relaxation
• Room partitions separate each resident’s room area
• Enclosed courtyard area with multiple planters, garden areas, benches and tables.
• Each resident is encouraged to personalize their room. This includes Personal Picture Memory Boards, to help increase recognition and trigger memories
• Extensive Activities program is tailored to each individual’s abilities, interest levels and capabilities, encouraging them to keep active throughout the day and providing them with a sense of identity
